Swedish Massage 

Swedish Massage (or “spa” massage) focuses on relaxation and circulation by using long strokes, kneading techniques, and friction. It can also help relieve muscle and ligament tension and reduce mental fatigue and emotional stress.

Advance Circulatory

Enhanced Swedish massage with special focus on cross-fiber and other massage techniques that release old adhesions and scar tissue. Also includes deeper, more invigorating massage techniques to stimulate circulation, as well as other advanced and sports massage techniques.

Deep Tissue Massage

Many people confuse deep tissue with simply really hard pressure. The concept of Deep Tissue work is to sink slowly and only as far as the body allows at the moment. While you may experience some muscle soreness after, it shouldn’t hurt or leave you badly bruised. Benefits of Deep Tissue Massage include improvements in posture, flexibility, range of motion, balance, and energy levels, while at the same time providing relief from tension, aches, pains, and stiffness.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal certified. Studies indicate that massage therapy performed during pregnancy can reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, and improve labor outcomes and newborn health. Work done after the 1st trimester is done with a pregnancy pillow or side lying.

  • First massage is $65 for 60 min, then $60 for 60 min during remainder of pregnancy 

Shiatsu Floor Massage

Shiatsu is a form of Japanese bodywork based on concepts in traditional Chinese medicine, such as the use of chi meridians. The intent of Shiatsu is to enhance overall health, increase blood and lymph circulation, heal injuries, and balance the energies of the body, mind, and spirit. Treatments are given on a mat with the client fully clothed and without the use of massage lotions.

Tui Na – Acupressure – requires 24hr notice

Tui Na is a massage modality based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. It involves stimulation of acupressure points to directly affect the flow and balance of “chi” (life energy) through “meridians” or channels in the body. Acupressure work is done fully clothed and typically addresses one or two problem areas at a time.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a form of body work that involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, and ears to promote optimal health. The locations of “reflex points” relate to organs, glands, and other body systems. Stimulating these points promotes deep relaxation, reduces stress, improves circulation, and facilitates detoxification and revitalization of the body.

  • Full service: (hands, feet, ears, and neck rub) – $55 for 60 min
  • Mini: (feet, ears/neck if time allows) – $30 for 30 min alone, or $25 as add-on to any other treatment

AromaTouch Technique (or ATT)

The AromaTouch Technique® is a clinical approach to applying essential oils to the back and feet. This technique combines the unique benefits of human touch with the power of essential oils to create an overall wellness experience. ATT is not a regular full body massage; it is a 45 minute to 1 hour treatment. ATT helps to improve wellbeing by reducing physical and emotional stressors, supporting health autonomic function, stimulating the body’s energy lines, and centering/balancing your body’s system and function. The essential oils used in the AromaTouch Technique were chosen for their individual and combined aromatic properties.

Chi Nei Tsang – Vital Organ Enhancement Massage

Chi Nei Tsang is a form of abdominal massage that is rooted in Taoism. It focuses on clearing energetic and physical blockages in the abdomen so that the Chi (energy) can flow smoothly. This massage includes essential oils to help support body systems. Sound vibrations and speaking affirmations are also used to increase efficacy.

Symphony of the Cells (or SOC) – requires 24 hr notice

Symphony of the Cells™ are essential oil applications designed to help anyone achieve physical, emotional, and spiritual harmony within the body. Each application takes a focused approach, addressing a specific body system and targeting the underlying causes and symptoms of various conditions. The applications incorporate pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils and utilize a layering technique.

Ayurvedic Massage – requires 24 hr notice

I offer three different modalities (Abhyanga, Vishesh, and Udvartana) each based on one of the following Ayurvedic Doshas: Vata, Kapha, and Pitta. Prior to the appointment, clients can fill out a survey to identify their dominant Dosha. Ayurvedic practices restore balance, boost immunity, and enhance the quality and duration of life.

  •  $75 – ranges from 60 to 75 min of massage time plus 15 min of hot towel wipe-down and 15 min cooldown (about 90 min total)

Ayurvedic Shirodhara ( “thread of oil on the forehead” ) – requires 24 hr notice (coming in 2022)

Streaming oil on forehead follwed by Indian head massage and Marma point stimulation.

  • $50 for 45 min, or $40 if added on to Ayurvedic (or any other) Massage

*Memberships are billed monthly on the 1st and need to be paid by the 5th to be considered a member for the month. Membership fee may be paid before first massage. Fees for additional massages will be due at time of service. See membership contract for more information.
